Once the sun set we had some time before the moon set, so we played around with some sparklers which was fun. I want to explore more with them!
Then, finally, it was time to shoot the night sky! It was super cloudy at first and we were all worried we wouldn't get any good shots. But the wind kicked in and the clouds cleared out and it was a perfect night! It was also time for the Perseid Meteor Shower and I was extremely lucky to catch a couple of them in my photos! The ones I caught were not very bright, but I felt lucky to have gotten any at all!

This was the best meteor, the brightest and longest. Plus, a nice shot of the Big Dipper!
You can barely see this one, but it's up on the top towards the left.
